Emil David was born on November 23, 1932 at home in Hanusovice, Czechoslovakia.







Emil's brother, Jiri, was born in 1936.

In 1938 the family was moved from Sudetanland and moved several times during World War II.

Emil studied at the Mendel University in Brno in the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology from 1952 - 1957.

During Emil's University years in Brno he raced his Czech motorcycle in street races, winter races, and motocross. During the winter he kept the motorcycle in his bedroom.
